2/9/2019 3 Comments Fresh 48I met Rebecca & Adam a few years ago when I took care of their 1st born, Ellie, in the NICU as her Occupational Therapist. I was lucky enough to be asked to do family photos for them back in the fall and even luckier to be asked to capture Oliver’s first few hours of life with a Fresh 48 photography session just a few weeks ago. Meet Oliver Joseph: I thought I'd share a few tips and tricks I've learned along the way to help you or someone you may know plan their Fresh 48 session. How to prep for a Fresh 48 Photography session:
When to Book your Fresh 48It is always best to book your session as soon as you know your expected delivery date! Reach out to the photographer to start collaborating and to even see if that is the right photographer for you and your family. You'll want a photographer who's flexible and also somewhat knowledgeable about area hospitals. Also keep in mind that often cell phone reception is tricky inside the hospital. It's been to have a secondary family member in-the-know about the session in case your unavailable to text or call if something comes up.
Most importantly, a fresh 48 session is precious and intimate, in the moment, and should be captured. These moments are irreplaceable - I would love to be that photographer for you!
